La Mairena - Getting even better every day
What have we achieved so far?
La Mairena is no longer a small isolated community of foreigners. We are a large thriving community, fully part of the wonderful Andalucían town of Ojén, from where we receive the facilities and services for which Ojén Town Hall are responsible, and the help that the lovely people in the Town Hall give us to cope with the various bits of paper that we occasionally have to complete. We are getting new street lights, help with security cameras, a feria in La Mairena, improvement of the appearance, negotiation on our behalf with the local, Andalucían and Spanish authorities to improve road links with Ojén. .
We enjoy everything the marvellous Andalucían culture has to offer. So if you are a La Mairena Area resident, join in, register at the Town Hall, enjoy our El Soto Club House and have dinners in the wonderful Spanish restaurants of Ojén. All of this helps us to become a real part of Ojén and enjoy the wonderful life of a typical Andalucían pueblo.
